Make a Map GPS Accurate

The dust app will show points on the map, but if you would like to show where the person is on the map and show distances to camps, events and art then you need to make the map GPS accurate.

  1. Click the Map icon on the home page of the event
  2. Click the drop down on the toolbar and choose GPS
  3. Place the GPS pin on a spot where you know the latitude and longitude
  4. Click on the pin and enter the latitude and longitude
  5. Repeat these steps until you have 3 GPS pins on the map

It's a good idea to place the 3 pins a good distance from each other. Dust will use these 3 GPS pins to triangulate where the app user is on the map.
